CDC Supporters

Thank you/acknowledgment of supporters

The majority of funding needed for the Child Development Center to carry out its mission statement is obtained through Federal, State, and local government. However, the money needed to maintain high quality, research based, “state-of-the-art” services in a growing population, public and private funding is crucial.

Below is a list of foundations, public agencies, and private donors who have contributed financially to support CDC. Where applicable, links are offered to the foundations and agencies.

The Wyoming Developmental Disabilities Division (DDD)

The Wyoming Developmental Disabilities Division (DDD) has been instrumental in many ways in supporting CDC’s programmatic efforts over the years. A large grant from the Division permitted CDS to launch the Early Childhood Social-Emotional Development Program which has been implemented at CDC. The DDD has also provided substantial financial support for the “1 before 2” Campaign, promoting the free developmental screenings provided by CDC, and most importantly, a per child dollar amount that enables early intervention services to be provided through CDC.

The McMurry Foundation presently provides financial support for CDC’s Early Intervention Programs. The foundation has been a critical and long-standing contributor to CDC, offering sizable grants to supplement existing operating costs, as well as being one of the first to contribute sizably to the $5.6 Million dollar “Great Expectations Campaign” that allowed a 25,000 square foot expansion.
